This Website is operated by Renify Ltd., trading as RENEW ("RENEW", "we", "us", or "our").

RENEW originated from a Research Ireland-funded initiative led by Maynooth University. Certain outputs of that initiative are subject to license by Maynooth University to Renify Ltd. for commercial deployment and operation.

By accessing or using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Website.

2. About RENEW

RENEW provides information, software, digital tools and services designed to help households understand, manage and optimise their electricity usage, including participation in dynamic electricity pricing and related energy services.

Where electricity supply services are offered through the RENEW platform:

Arden Energy acts as the licensed electricity supplier and Supplier of Record;
Renify Ltd. provides the RENEW platform, customer experience, software, analytics, engagement and related services; and
Any electricity supply contract entered into by a customer is governed by the applicable electricity supply terms and conditions provided by Arden Energy and any associated contractual documentation.

Nothing on this Website constitutes an offer to supply electricity unless expressly stated.

3. Eligibility

You may use the Website only if:

you are at least 18 years of age;
you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements; and
you comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Certain services may only be available to residents of the Republic of Ireland.

4. Information on the Website

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information presented on the Website is accurate and up to date.

However:

information may change without notice;
we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy or suitability of all information;

5. RENEW Compare Tariff Comparison Service

5.1 Purpose of the Service

The Website may provide access to the RENEW Compare tariff comparison service, which is intended to help users compare electricity tariffs and estimate potential costs, savings and tariff suitability.

The service is provided for information and comparison purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, regulatory or energy advice.

5.2 Tariff Data Sources

Tariff information displayed through RENEW Compare may be obtained from:

electricity suppliers;
publicly available tariff publications;
third-party data providers;
market participants; and
information supplied directly by energy retailers.

While RENEW makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and up-to-date tariff information, we do not warrant that all tariff information is complete, current or free from error at all times.

5.3 Estimated Costs and Savings

Where the service provides estimated annual costs, projected savings, comparisons, rankings or recommendations, such outputs are based on available tariff information and user-provided or estimated consumption data. Assumptions may be applied regarding consumption patterns, standing charges, smart meter data, export credits, dynamic pricing behaviour or other variables. Actual bills and savings may differ materially from estimates shown, and past or estimated savings are not guarantees of future performance.

5.4 Dynamic Tariffs

Certain tariffs displayed through RENEW Compare may be dynamic, time-of-use or wholesale-linked tariffs. Future electricity costs cannot be predicted with certainty. Actual customer costs will depend on future wholesale market conditions and customer consumption behaviour. Estimated savings are illustrative only, and customers may pay more than under alternative tariff structures depending on market conditions and usage patterns.

5.5 Customer Responsibility

Before entering into any electricity supply agreement, customers should review the supplier's official tariff documentation, review applicable terms and conditions, verify pricing details directly with the supplier where necessary, and satisfy themselves that a particular tariff is suitable for their circumstances.

The final terms applicable to any electricity supply agreement are those provided by the relevant supplier and not the information displayed through RENEW Compare.

5.6 No Endorsement

Inclusion of a supplier or tariff within RENEW Compare does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee by RENEW unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. Energy Insights and Recommendations

The Website may provide:

energy usage insights;
consumption analysis;
renewable energy assessments;
personalised recommendations;
home electrification guidance; and
other analytical services.

These outputs are based on available information and modelling assumptions and should be treated as informational only.

RENEW does not guarantee any particular level of savings, efficiency improvement, carbon reduction or financial benefit.

7. User Accounts

11. Electricity Supply Services

Where users choose to switch electricity supplier or obtain electricity supply through the RENEW platform:

Arden Energy acts as the licensed electricity supplier and Supplier of Record;
electricity supply is subject to applicable regulatory requirements and contractual terms;
customer eligibility checks may apply; and
completion of an online application does not guarantee acceptance as a customer.

RENEW may facilitate onboarding, customer communications, account management and digital services, but electricity supply remains subject to the terms agreed with Arden Energy.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites, services or content.

We do not control and are not responsible for any third-party content, products, services or websites.

Accessing third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the applicable third-party terms and privacy policies.
